Job Overview

We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Accountant to oversee financial records, ensure precise reporting, and support daily accounting activities. This position requires a strong grasp of accounting principles and familiarity with local regulatory requirements to maintain compliance and contribute to the company’s financial health.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial ledgers and records, preparing comprehensive financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, and managing both accounts payable and receivable functions. Additional duties include reconciling bank statements, monitoring cash flow, processing VAT filings and statutory reports punctually, and assisting with audit preparations by providing necessary documentation. Supporting management with financial analysis and budgeting tasks is also an integral part of the job.

Requirements and Qualifications

The ideal applicant should hold a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, with proven experience in an accounting or accounts executive role. Proficiency in ZOHO Books accounting software and advanced skills in MS Excel are essential. Attention to detail, accuracy, the ability to work independently under deadlines, and strong communication and organizational skills are highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range offered for this role is BHD 200 to 250. A probationary period of three months will apply. Visa arrangements will be made after a successful one-month probation.
