Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Officer to oversee the acquisition of goods and services efficiently and cost-effectively. This role demands a detail-oriented professional who can manage procurement activities while ensuring compliance with company policies and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will handle the entire procurement process from identifying suppliers to receiving deliveries. Key duties include preparing technical specifications and bid documents, evaluating potential suppliers, and negotiating favorable contracts. The role also involves monitoring supplier performance to guarantee adherence to agreements, maintaining precise procurement records, and coordinating with various internal teams to meet operational needs. Additionally, the Procurement Officer will resolve any invoice discrepancies and assist the accounts payable department as necessary while ensuring all processes comply with industry regulations and company standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of six years’ experience in procurement, with at least two years in restaurant chains or catering sectors preferred.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and supplier relationship management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication skills and strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is 10,000 to 12,000 SAR, which will be tailored to the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
