SAFELCO Co. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Procurement Engineer to join their team in Riyadh. This role is tailored for a proactive individual with a solid background in procurement, especially within construction or project-based industries. The successful candidate will manage procurement activities to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality delivery of project materials.

Key Responsibilities

The Procurement Engineer will take charge of the entire procurement cycle for materials and equipment needed on projects. Responsibilities include preparing and processing purchase orders aligned with project specifications, sourcing and negotiating with suppliers to secure optimal pricing and service, and collaborating closely with project teams to confirm material requirements. Tracking orders to guarantee prompt delivery and maintaining up-to-date procurement records are also critical to this role. Building and sustaining effective vendor relationships is essential to support project goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant procurement experience, preferably in construction or project procurement
• Excellent negotiation abilities and supplier relationship management
• Competency in handling purchase orders and managing supply chains for project materials
• Familiarity with procurement software and general computer applications
