Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Procurement Engineer to join our team in Riyadh. This role focuses on supporting procurement activities for construction projects by managing supplier relationships, sourcing materials, and ensuring timely deliveries. The ideal candidate will have a background in engineering and some experience in procurement or sourcing within the local market.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials and suppliers in Riyadh, obtaining and evaluating quotations, and assisting with price analysis to secure cost-effective solutions. Coordination with suppliers to align delivery schedules with project timelines is also crucial. Additional duties include preparing purchase requests and purchase orders, maintaining procurement documentation, and supporting project teams in planning material procurement.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of procurement or sourcing experience, ideally related to construction.
• Familiarity with local suppliers and competitive pricing within Riyadh.
• Effective negotiation and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and procurement documentation management.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Valid driving license is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates currently residing in Riyadh with transferable Iqama status will be given preference.
