We are seeking a seasoned Purchasing Manager with a strong background in procurement, particularly within industrial or engineering fields. The ideal candidate will bring over several years of experience, including a minimum of three years in a managerial capacity, preferably in the food, petrochemical, or steel industries. This role requires a professional with proven leadership skills and proficiency in managing complex supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for overseeing procurement activities, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring the timely purchase of materials essential to production and operations. They will also manage procurement processes using ERP systems such as SAP or ODOO, maintain strong vendor relationships, and lead a procurement team to meet business objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• Extensive procurement experience, with at least three years in a managerial role.
• Industry-specific knowledge in food, petrochemical, or steel sectors.
• Business-level proficiency in English and good command of Arabic.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.
• Familiarity with ERP platforms like SAP, ODOO, or similar.
• Professional certifications such as CSCP or CPSM are highly regarded.
