Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Procurement and Logistics Engineer to manage technical purchasing and optimize supply chain operations for engineering and construction projects in Riyadh. This role involves coordinating the acquisition of materials, equipment, and services while ensuring efficient logistics and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluation and selection of suppliers for specialized equipment, bulk materials, and components.
• Lead contract negotiations to secure the best pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms with vendors.
• Oversee logistics operations by monitoring shipping, transportation, and inventory levels to guarantee timely and safe arrival of materials on site.
• Collaborate closely with project, design, and quality control teams to ensure all procured items meet technical specifications and project requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
• Proficiency in ERP software such as SAP or Oracle.
• Strong understanding of both local and international contracting practices.
• Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) is highly desirable.

Experience

Candidates should possess 15 to 20 years of relevant experience within the Gulf region, demonstrating a robust track record in procurement and logistics within engineering or construction sectors.
