Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Assembly Supervisor to lead the assembly of horizontal and vertical pumps at our facility in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This position calls for a hands-on leader who can manage the entire assembly process while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. The role demands expertise in interpreting complex technical drawings and managing a technical team dedicated to delivering zero-defect products.

Key Responsibilities

The Assembly Supervisor will oversee all aspects of pump assembly including planning the sequence of operations, interpreting cross-sectional drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs), and supervising hydrostatic and performance testing. You will be responsible for directing a skilled technical team, maintaining high levels of productivity, and enforcing strict safety protocols throughout the workflow. Managing safe crane operations for lifting heavy pump components is also an essential duty. Additionally, you’ll implement Lean and 5S principles to streamline processes and minimize assembly lead times.

Required Skills and Experience

• 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience in the pumps industry, particularly in pump parts assembly.
• Proficient in operating overhead cranes and conducting lifting operations safely.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and BOMs related to pump assembly.
• Strong leadership skills to guide and motivate a technical team while ensuring productivity and safety.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing and 5S methodologies to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Documentation

Applicants should hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. A valid original iqama with sufficient validity is mandatory for consideration. The position offers monthly salary payments commensurate with experience.
