Job Overview

General Solutions Contracting Company Saudia is urgently seeking an experienced Fabrication Supervisor to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time, onsite position requires a candidate with strong technical expertise and proven leadership abilities to efficiently oversee fabrication activities.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will supervise a team including welders, fabricators, fitters, CNC operators, and other skilled workers. Daily responsibilities include assigning tasks, tracking progress, and ensuring projects are completed on schedule. Coordination with engineering, design, procurement, and quality assurance teams is essential to maintain smooth operations. Managing materials and tools inventory, reviewing blueprints and technical drawings prior to task delegation, and recommending process improvements to optimize efficiency and reduce waste are also vital. The role requires upholding rigorous safety and quality standards on both shop floors and job sites, alongside providing training and mentoring to junior staff members.

Required Skills and Qualifications

A minimum of five years’ experience in fabrication is essential, with at least two years in a supervisory or foreman capacity. Previous work exposure at companies such as Al Sharq Steel Factory, REDCO International Qatar, or METAFCO Saudi Arabia is highly desirable. Hands-on experience with welding, fitting, CNC operations, and various fabrication techniques is required. Candidates must demonstrate strong blueprint reading abilities, technical interpretation skills, and familiarity with machine operation and maintenance. Quality control expertise, defect identification, and strict adherence to safety protocols including emergency response procedures are critical. Excellent communication, leadership, and coordination skills are necessary to lead teams effectively.
