Job Overview

We are seeking a diligent Technical Support Specialist to provide essential support to our drivers, dispatchers, and operations team in managing daily fleet activities. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of GPS tracking systems, communication devices, and other technical equipment vital to our truck fleet in Riyadh.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver timely technical assistance to drivers and operations staff, troubleshooting issues related to fleet equipment and systems.
• Monitor and maintain GPS tracking devices, vehicle cameras, sensors, and communication tools to ensure they function optimally.
• Collaborate closely with maintenance teams and external workshops to report, follow up, and resolve technical problems affecting the trucks.
• Conduct thorough inspections during truck delivery and receiving processes, documenting any damages, defects, or missing items accurately.
• Manage comprehensive records including truck conditions, repairs, inspections, mileage, fuel levels, and associated documentation.
• Prepare and verify driver authorization documents and ensure all drivers are properly cleared to operate assigned vehicles.
• Coordinate effective handover and receiving protocols between drivers, maintenance, and management teams.
• Generate detailed daily and weekly reports on truck availability, technical issues, repair statuses, and delivery activities.
• Respond promptly to emergency technical issues to minimize downtime during fleet operations.
• Maintain an organized database covering all fleet vehicles, drivers, equipment, and documentation, ensuring readiness for audits or management reviews.
• Recommend preventative measures based on recurring technical problems to improve fleet reliability.
