Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Structural Supervisor with extensive experience in piping and steel structures. This role requires in-depth knowledge of various materials, welding processes, and the ability to interpret technical documentation to ensure proper fabrication and installation in construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

The Structural Supervisor will oversee the fabrication and installation of steel structures and piping components. You will be responsible for interpreting structural drawings, general arrangements, isometrics, and project-specific standards. Managing resources, monitoring production activities, and ensuring compliance with welding procedures and quality standards are essential to this role.

Required Skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of piping and steel structure materials such as pipes, fittings, flanges, and steel profiles.
• Strong understanding of consumables including welding rods and gases used in the fabrication process.
• Familiarity with welding techniques and NDT methods, including welding procedure specifications (WPS) and procedure qualification records (PQR).
• Ability to read and interpret a wide range of technical documents like P&IDs, plot plans, alignment sheets, and installation procedures.
• Experience identifying potential issues within project documentation and acting swiftly to resolve them.
• Understanding of fabrication sequences for fixed facilities and subsea products, along with resource planning and production time estimation skills.
• Capability to monitor performance indicators, highlight critical areas, and propose corrective actions for smooth operations.

Requirements

Applicants are expected to have a strong background in structural supervision related to piping and steel fabrications within industrial or construction environments. Prior experience in similar projects is highly advantageous.
