We are currently seeking a seasoned Senior Agriculture Specialist to join projects based in Saudi Arabia. This role is ideal for candidates with extensive experience in gardening, landscaping, and agricultural management, especially those with a strong background in horticulture and plantations. Interested professionals with a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or a related field and over ten years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Agriculture Specialist will lead various agricultural initiatives and contribute to the enhancement of land use and plant management strategies. Responsibilities include:

• Directing research and experimental activities focused on optimizing land utilization and improving plant health.
• Designing landscaping plans and horticulture programs that are both effective and cost-efficient.
• Training teams on the latest agricultural practices and pest control techniques.
• Analyzing soil properties and implementing conservation methods to maintain soil health.
• Overseeing day-to-day operations related to gardening, landscaping, and nursery activities.
• Implementing and monitoring Integrated Pest Management (IPM) strategies to control pests sustainably.
• Conducting pest surveys and developing improved control measures aligned with project goals.

Required Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess a robust skill set and extensive experience in the agricultural field, including:

• A minimum of 10 years working in gardening, landscaping, agriculture, or related sectors.
• At least 8 years of specialized experience in horticulture, gardening, or plantation management.
• Proven expertise in plantation management and landscaping techniques.
• Strong knowledge of soil science, pest control, and sustainable agriculture practices.
• Ability to lead teams and train staff on best practices and new technology.

Candidate Requirements
