Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced MHE/MST Supervisor based in Saudi Arabia with a valid transferable iqama who is available to start immediately. This role requires a minimum of five years’ experience overseeing material handling equipment and conveyor systems. Both male and female candidates are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will lead a team of BBM and conveyor technicians, providing training, guidance, and support. Responsibilities include scheduling and prioritizing installation, maintenance, and repair tasks to ensure optimal performance and uptime of conveyor and BBM systems. You will be expected to perform electrical troubleshooting and root cause analysis, monitor system performance to prevent downtime, and coordinate preventive maintenance activities.

Additionally, the supervisor will collaborate with production and maintenance teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives such as equipment upgrades and workflow reconfigurations. Managing inventory for spare parts and tools, enhancing system performance by making modifications, and maintaining accurate records of maintenance work, equipment histories, and inventories are also vital parts of this role. A strong focus on adhering to safety protocols and participating in training and performance evaluations of technicians is essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, supplemented by vocational training in mechanics, electrical systems, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in conveyor and BBM systems maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
• Strong expertise in electrical troubleshooting, including PLC, SCADA, and VFD drives operations.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a technical team.
• Familiarity with conveyor and BBM systems validation including installation qualification, operational qualification, and performance qualification.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, focused on continuous efficiency improvements.
• Thorough knowledge of safety standards applicable to conveyor and BBM systems.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and other documentation accurately.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools relevant to conveyor maintenance and electrical troubleshooting.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and be on call as needed.
