Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Water Pump Installation and Maintenance Technician to join our contracting company in Riyadh. This role involves installing, testing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of water pumps and filtration systems used in residential, commercial, and agricultural applications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate solid mechanical and electrical skills, a detail-oriented approach to problem-solving, and a strong commitment to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

The successful technician will be responsible for:

• Installing and commissioning various pumps including submersible, centrifugal, booster, and diaphragm/piston dosing pumps along with control panels, pressure tanks, and related piping systems.
• Conducting routine preventive maintenance to keep water pumping systems operating efficiently and reduce the risk of unexpected failures.
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical malfunctions in pumps, motors, wiring, and control units, and carrying out necessary repairs or parts replacements.
• Performing flow, pressure, and electrical tests using specialized instruments to verify system functionality meets required standards.
• Communicating clearly with clients by explaining technical issues and offering recommended solutions in a professional manner.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should meet the following criteria:

• At least 2 years of experience in water pump installation and maintenance or a related electromechanical role.
• Strong understanding of water pump mechanics, hydraulics, and plumbing systems.
• Basic electrical knowledge including wiring, control panels, and operation of single and three-phase motors.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and wiring diagrams effectively.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic devices used in pump maintenance and repair.
