Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Plumber Technician to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in executing plumbing works across residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. This role involves working both indoors and outdoors, ensuring plumbing systems are installed, repaired, and maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

The plumber technician will be responsible for accurately interpreting construction drawings and execution plans to carry out plumbing tasks such as cold and hot water piping, drainage systems, and fire-fighting system installations. Duties also include fitting various sanitary fixtures including washbasins, mixers, toilets, and water heaters. Routine maintenance and troubleshooting of plumbing failures on project sites are essential parts of the role.

Working closely with electrical and HVAC teams within the MEP discipline is critical to ensure smooth coordination and timely progress. Adhering to quality benchmarks and workplace safety regulations is mandatory throughout all stages of the work. The technician will prepare and submit progress reports to supervisors or assigned engineers regularly.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should hold a vocational or industrial diploma, or an equivalent certification from an accredited institution. A minimum of five years’ practical experience in plumbing execution is required. Proficiency in reading technical drawings, handling plumbing tools, and performing precise measurements is essential. Familiarity with Saudi codes and occupational safety standards is highly valued.

Strong leadership skills are needed to supervise assistants effectively and collaborate within a team environment. The ability to work well under pressure and resolve problems efficiently is important for success in this role. Having a Saudi driving license is considered an advantage.

Work Environment

This position involves working on various construction sites across Riyadh, often in dynamic conditions requiring both foundational rough-in plumbing and finishing work. The role demands physical stamina and attention to safety protocols to maintain a high standard of workmanship.
