Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Fleet and Transport Manager to lead and manage our fleet operations, primarily within the construction and contracting industry in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have at least eight years of relevant experience, demonstrating a strong track record in overseeing vehicle and transportation logistics efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing all company fleet and transport activities. This includes planning vehicle and equipment movements, ensuring optimal utilization of the fleet, and maintaining cost-effective operations. They will oversee routine maintenance schedules, enforce safety regulations, and lead the driver and transport teams to ensure smooth daily operations. Accurate fleet record-keeping and operational reporting are essential, as is collaborating closely with project and site teams to support transportation needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in fleet and transport management, preferably within construction or contracting environments.
• Proven management skills with a strong ability to lead and coordinate transport teams effectively.
• In-depth knowledge of vehicle maintenance, fleet utilization, and operational cost control.
• Understanding of safety and transportation regulations to ensure compliance.
• Educational background in Transport Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience working in Saudi Arabia or the GCC region is a significant advantage.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
