We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Technician with expertise in both installation and maintenance of fire alarm systems. This role involves working with addressable and conventional fire alarm technology to ensure the safety and functionality of fire detection systems in various facilities. Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for installing fire alarm systems strictly following approved technical drawings. This includes mounting detectors, manual call points, sounders, and performing cable laying with proper terminations. Routine preventive and corrective maintenance is critical, requiring troubleshooting of faults to keep systems fully operational. Other duties include programming fire alarm control panels and configuring device addresses, as well as conducting thorough system testing and commissioning to ensure compliance with safety standards. Detailed maintenance and inspection reports must be prepared and submitted regularly.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven experience handling installation and maintenance of fire alarm systems, both addressable and conventional.
• Ability to program and configure fire alarm control panels accurately.
• Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve system issues promptly.
• Familiarity with carrying out system testing, commissioning, and preparing detailed technical reports.
• Understanding and adherence to safety regulations and standards in fire alarm system work.
