Gulfaar Group is seeking skilled Electric Arc Welders specializing in Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) to join a significant Saudi Aramco project based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is an excellent opportunity for welders with relevant certifications and project experience to contribute to a high-profile energy sector project.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing welding tasks using the SMAW technique in accordance with project standards and specifications. Responsibilities include handling electrodes correctly, following Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), ensuring welding quality and safety standards are met, and passing necessary qualification tests to comply with Saudi Aramco requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW).
• Must hold a valid third-party welding certification.
• Preference will be given to those with prior Saudi Aramco project experience.
• Applicants should possess valid Saudi Aramco approval for the relevant welding process where applicable.
• Thorough understanding of welding procedures, quality control measures, and electrode management.
• Ability to successfully pass welding qualification tests as required by the project.
