Job Overview

A leading AI and analytics provider based in Riyadh is seeking a skilled Data Privacy Consultant to join their team. This full-time position reports to the Senior Director and plays a crucial role in strengthening data privacy practices across the organization. The company combines human expertise with advanced AI technology to deliver impactful intelligence solutions to some of the world’s largest enterprises, including prominent Fortune 500 clients. With a presence in multiple countries, the organization serves diverse sectors such as Technology, Media, Telecom, Pharma, Lifesciences, Retail, Banking, and more.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing comprehensive data privacy initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture of privacy awareness. Core duties include:

• Maintaining and validating Records of Processing Activities (RoPA) and conducting Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA) to ensure accurate processing oversight.
• Performing periodic reviews of RoPA, PIA, and Personally Identifiable Information (PII) classifications to uphold compliance standards.
• Overseeing PII data classification, anonymization efforts, and control validations across critical systems.
• Managing privacy risk related to third-party vendors through assessments, Data Processing Agreement (DPA) reviews, and integration with broader enterprise risk management.
• Developing and monitoring personal data breach management strategies, including incident reporting and response drills.
• Ensuring employee and customer consent management processes are documented, tracked, and periodically reviewed for effectiveness.
• Designing and delivering targeted privacy training and awareness programs tailored to different roles within the company.
• Supporting privacy governance by contributing to audits, reporting, and continuous process improvements.
• Collaborating closely with IT, cybersecurity, legal, and business teams to embed privacy principles into projects and daily operations.
• Advising leadership on emerging privacy risks, compliance gaps, and relevant best practices.
• Assisting in the enhancement of privacy policies, standards, and procedures to align with evolving regulations and business needs.
• Championing ongoing improvements in privacy automation, tools, and reporting mechanisms.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong understanding of data privacy laws, frameworks, and regulations such as PDPL and GDPR.
• Proven experience conducting privacy assessments, managing risks, and ensuring compliance in complex environments.
• Hands-on familiarity with privacy governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) platforms and related tools.
• Excellent analytical abilities, attention to detail, and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, data analysis, and reporting tools.
• Effective stakeholder management and communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
