Job Overview

Project Pioneer Contracting Company (PPCO) is currently seeking skilled Auto Electricians to join our Workshop and Maintenance team located in Abqaiq, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing electrical systems in heavy earth moving equipment, trucks, and other vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidates will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical and electronic faults across a variety of heavy machinery and vehicles. Core duties include:

• Diagnosing electrical issues in heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, graders, and wheel loaders.
• Inspecting and maintaining wiring systems, electrical circuits, starters, alternators, batteries, lighting, and charging systems.
• Handling repairs on electronic control systems, sensors, relays, and switches.
• Utilizing diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately detect faults.
• Replacing damaged wiring harnesses, connectors, and other electrical components.
• Adhering to established workshop safety standards during all repair and maintenance tasks.
• Maintaining detailed records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance performed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should possess a Diploma or Technical Certificate in Automotive Electrical or a related field, paired with 3 to 5 years of relevant hands-on experience. Specific qualifications include:

• Proven expertise with heavy equipment and construction machinery electrical systems is highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of vehicle electrical schematics and diagnostics.
• Capability to independently troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical faults.
• Knowledge of diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicle electrical systems is preferred.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
