A prominent budget hotel group in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Area Operations Director to lead and manage a portfolio of multiple hotel properties. This key leadership role focuses on ensuring operational excellence, boosting profitability, and maintaining brand standards across several locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations across 5 to 10+ hotel properties, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand guidelines.
• Drive financial metrics including Gross Operating Profit (GOP), Revenue per Available Room (RevPAR), and labor cost controls.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to General Managers to support performance improvement and target achievement.
• Streamline procurement processes and oversee vendor contract negotiations to optimize costs across the region.
• Conduct regular property audits to uphold compliance, cleanliness, and standard operating procedures.
• Lead crisis management efforts and handle resolution of regional operational issues effectively.

Required Skills and Experience

• Over 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry, including at least 3 to 5 years in a Cluster General Manager or regional leadership role.
• Strong expertise managing budget or limited-service hotel operations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple sites successfully.
• Excellent financial literacy and a focus on operational efficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related discipline; an MBA is preferred.
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) or Certified Revenue Management Executive (CRME) are advantageous.
