We are urgently hiring skilled lifting professionals to join the prestigious Qiddiya Stadium Project located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This opportunity is open for experienced candidates with strong backgrounds in lifting and rigging operations, ready to contribute to a landmark construction endeavor.

Available positions include 1 Appointed Person specializing in lifting operations and 2 Lifting Supervisors.

Key Responsibilities

Appointed Person:

  • Develop, review, and authorize detailed lifting plans to ensure safe execution.
  • Conduct thorough site surveys and assess potential lifting risks prior to operations.
  • Choose appropriate cranes, rigging equipment, and accessories to match lifting requirements.
  • Guarantee all lifting activities comply with project specifications and safety standards.
  • Work closely with project management teams, crane operators, and rigging personnel to coordinate activities.
  • Oversee critical lifts and provide expert technical support throughout the process.

Lifting Supervisors:

  • Supervise daily lifting tasks on-site, ensuring adherence to approved lifting procedures.
  • Lead toolbox talks and pre-lift safety briefings to prepare staff effectively.
  • Inspect cranes, lifting gear, and rigging setups for safety and compliance before operations.
  • Maintain safe working environments by enforcing exclusion zones and halting unsafe practices immediately.
  • Document and report any safety concerns or incidents related to lifting activities.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Appointed Person candidates must hold LEEA certification and have at least 10 years of verifiable lifting and rigging experience.
  • Lifting Supervisors should possess a minimum of 7 years of practical experience in similar roles.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of rigging techniques, crane safety protocols, and lifting regulations is essential.
  • Proficiency in preparing lifting plans, performing risk assessments, and drafting method statements is required.
  • Experience within Saudi Arabia or GCC construction projects is highly advantageous.
