Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated female Registered Nurse specializing in dermatology to join a reputable healthcare facility in Riyadh. This role involves providing expert nursing care to patients dealing with various skin conditions and cosmetic concerns, working closely under the guidance of a dermatologist. The candidate will play a vital role in supporting clinical assessments, administering treatments, assisting in dermatological procedures, and delivering patient education to ensure optimal care and safety.

Key Responsibilities

This position requires the nurse to support dermatologists during skin examinations and minor surgical procedures, maintain the cleanliness and sterilization of instruments, and ensure a safe clinical environment. The nurse will be responsible for administering medications including topical and injectable treatments, performing wound care, and providing clear post-procedure guidance to patients. Additionally, educating patients on skincare routines, treatment plans, and preventive measures is a critical function. Accurate documentation of patient histories, assessments, and all treatments is essential, as is monitoring patients for any adverse reactions. Coordinating follow-up appointments and maintaining compliance with infection control policies are also required duties.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must possess a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) and hold a Nursing Diploma certification. A minimum of one to two years of experience in dermatology or a related clinical area is preferred. Knowledge of dermatological terminology and treatments, along with strong communication skills for patient education, are important for success in this role. Immediate availability to join is highly regarded.

Preferred Skills and Additional Qualifications

Experience with aesthetic procedures and familiarity with dermatology devices is an advantage. Certifications in cosmetic dermatology or aesthetic nursing, such as training in injectables and laser treatments, will be beneficial. The ideal candidate should also demonstrate excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask efficiently.
