Job Overview

UXBERT Labs, Saudi Arabia’s pioneering consultancy in User Experience, Usability, and Ecommerce, is seeking a seasoned Senior Software Project Manager to join their Riyadh team. This role offers the chance to lead innovative software development projects that redefine user-centered design and technological advancement.

As a Senior Software Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of software projects on schedule, within budget, and aligned with the defined scope. You will play a key role in driving impactful digital transformations, working with cross-functional teams and cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee project delivery to ensure completion on time, within budget, and within project scope
• Define project scopes and objectives, engaging all relevant stakeholders to confirm technical feasibility
• Manage resource allocation to maintain project momentum
• Create and maintain detailed project plans for accurate progress tracking
• Apply effective change management practices to control adjustments in scope, schedule, and cost
• Utilize project management tools and techniques to measure and report project performance
• Communicate project status to senior management and escalate issues when necessary
• Foster strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders, ensuring smooth collaboration
• Identify and mitigate risks proactively throughout project lifecycles
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and external partners as needed
• Lead multifunctional teams of 10-15 members, including developers, UX/UI designers, business analysts, and QA personnel
• Evaluate current Agile methodologies, implement strategic improvements, and coach teams through Agile rituals
• Manage projects using JIRA and Confluence, including providing necessary training to team members
• Monitor Agile performance metrics and report insights to leadership
• Promote a collaborative and enjoyable team environment dedicated to delivering exceptional software products

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

• PMP certification with proven experience managing advanced technology projects such as Digitization, IoT, and innovative application development
• Certified in Agile Scrum methodologies with demonstrated success in enterprise-level software projects
• Experience managing mobile application development initiatives

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Technical expertise sufficient to lead development teams effectively and assess complex risks objectively
• Strong educational background, ideally in computer science or related fields
• Deep understanding of software development life cycles and proficiency in both Agile and traditional project management methods
• Track record of delivering IT sector projects with measurable success
• Ability to guide business analysts and collaborate with clients to define high-value strategies and solutions
• Experience managing a diverse range of clients through various stages of product delivery
• Capable of developing and driving shared product visions and roadmaps with clients
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused approach
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively
