Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst to join our cybersecurity team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will utilize data collected from various cyber defense tools to monitor, analyze, and respond to security events. This role involves detecting potential cyber threats, investigating incidents, and developing strategies to mitigate risks, ensuring the organization’s digital assets remain secure.

Key Responsibilities

The SOC Analyst will be responsible for correlating incident data to identify vulnerabilities and performing in-depth analysis of cyber defense trends. You will conduct comprehensive cybersecurity reviews to detect gaps in security architecture and recommend appropriate risk mitigation strategies. Using advanced cybersecurity tools and techniques, you will triage incidents to assess their urgency, scope, and potential impact, enabling timely and effective remediation.

Additional duties include performing internal and external audits to ensure compliance with relevant standards, collecting forensic data to support incident investigation, and assisting deployable incident response teams by handling tasks such as intrusion tracking, threat analysis, and system remediation.

Required Skills

• Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Intrusion Prevention/Detection Systems (IPS/IDS), and antivirus solutions.
• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages to support automation and analysis.
• Strong knowledge of host-based and network-based intrusion detection methodologies.
• Understanding of defense-in-depth security principles and network security architecture.
• Familiarity with best practices in incident response and management.
• Aware of cyberattack stages and common attacker techniques, tactics, and procedures.
• Experience working with Windows, UNIX, and Linux operating systems.
• Competence in collecting and analyzing data from diverse cybersecurity sources and tools.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and trend identification for cybersecurity incidents.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least two years of hands-on experience in information security or a closely related discipline.
