Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Control Manager to lead the project control efforts for wireless technology implementations, including 5G, 4G, and 3G projects in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will develop and execute project control strategies that align with client requirements, ensuring timely and accurate reporting while managing risks and coordinating resources.

Key Responsibilities

The Project Control Manager will oversee and guide all project control activities, including:

• Managing and allocating tasks among the project control team to meet project goals.
• Leading regular coordination meetings with all stakeholders to address project control challenges.
• Developing detailed Project Implementation Plans and Communication Plans, and monitoring project schedules and reporting.
• Implementing risk management procedures to identify, assess, and mitigate potential project risks proactively.
• Establishing systems for data collection, validation, and analysis, as well as maintaining databases to manage project data effectively.
• Creating consistent reporting routines, focusing on project status updates, delays, obstacles, and corrective measures.
• Delivering timely and clear project reports to clients and senior management in the required formats.
• Building strong collaborative relationships with vendor project control managers and internal teams.
• Conducting project control meetings and managing departmental ISO quarterly audits.
• Preparing Project Execution Plans and analyzing contract penalties as required.
• Performing regular audits to ensure project scope alignment with vendors and stakeholders.

Required Skills and Experience

The successful candidate should meet the following criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a recognized institution.
• At least 15 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 6 years managing project controls specifically within wireless technology projects.
• Strong knowledge of data science concepts, including data query, data mapping, and data mining, with practical hands-on expertise.
• In-depth understanding of Project Implementation Planning and Communication Plans.
• Proven track record in project scheduling, follow-up, and data presentation using advanced templates and tools.
• Experience developing automation tools in Excel using scripting, macros, and coding techniques.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel (including Macros, VLookup, Pivot Tables, and Charts), Visio, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
