Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Data Analyst and Business Intelligence (BI) specialist based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role demands a strong foundation in statistical analysis, business acumen, and expertise in advanced BI tools to provide valuable insights that support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying both qualitative and quantitative research methods to analyze complex datasets. You will perform descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics on big data to uncover trends and insights. Implementation of management dashboards and scorecards will be a vital part of your role, alongside using OLAP tools for multidimensional data analysis including slicing, dicing, drilling down/up, roll-ups, and pivots to enhance data exploration.
Required Skills and Technologies
Applicants must demonstrate proficiency with leading BI visualization platforms like Tableau, Power BI, and FineReport. Experience in SAS data analytics tools including BI, Data Integration, and Miner, as well as IBM analytics tools such as BI, I2, SPSS, and Content Analytics, is essential. Skilled programming in data analytics languages such as R and Python is also required to perform advanced analyses effectively.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Information Management Systems, Computer Science, or a related field is mandatory, with a Master’s degree in MIS considered an advantage. Candidates should have between 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in data and information management, including at least 6 years dedicated to data analysis roles and extensive experience with BI tools. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in Arabic is highly preferred.
Additional Requirements
The position is open to candidates currently residing in Saudi Arabia with a transferable Iqama. This residency and documentation status is essential for consideration.
