Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Applications Engineer who will serve as a vital link between clients and engineering teams. This role focuses on designing, developing, testing, and implementing applications based on customer input and sales data. The Applications Engineer also provides valuable technical support, engages in product demonstrations, and ensures smooth installation and maintenance processes.

Key Responsibilities

The Applications Engineer will be responsible for preparing techno-commercial bids by reviewing project specifications, valve data sheets, process documentation, and inspection criteria. They will coordinate with factories and sub-suppliers to obtain necessary support and ensure timely preparation of SAP documents. Additionally, the role involves responding promptly to customer inquiries, participating in technical discussions and clarifications, and reviewing contracts to ensure compliance with proposals. Processing purchase orders, managing order hand-off procedures, conducting conference calls, compiling pre-qualification dossiers, and maintaining an accurate quotations log are also key parts of the role.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 2 years experience in the valve industry
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities
• Ability to work closely with sales teams and customers to provide technical expertise
• Familiarity with SAP and technical bid preparation

Work Environment and Travel

This is a full-time position based primarily in Abahsain, Saudi Arabia, with additional opportunities in Al Madinah. The role requires approximately 15% travel to support regional customers and suppliers. The successful candidate will thrive in a collaborative setting involving technical, sales, and production teams.
