Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Risk Manager to lead the Risk, Issue, and Opportunity Section within the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) in Riyadh. This role reports directly to the Head of EPMO and focuses on developing, implementing, and monitoring risk management processes for complex projects. The successful candidate will ensure robust risk controls and proactive management to support timely delivery and achievement of program objectives.

Key Responsibilities

The Risk Manager will be responsible for creating and maintaining a risk management framework, including a risk matrix that tracks dependencies and potential impacts resulting from schedule delays. They will coordinate the identification, monitoring, and resolution of risks and issues, while also recognizing opportunities to optimize project benefits. Managing interdependencies across various projects, ensuring adherence to legal and commercial standards, and driving cohesive risk management practices across the program are essential duties. The role also involves providing regular, accurate reports to senior management on project risks and progress.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Postgraduate qualifications are advantageous.
• Professional certification in Risk Management or equivalent is preferred.
• Proven experience managing risks within complex project environments.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational capabilities.
• Ability to drive risk mitigation and project delivery effectively.

Additional Responsibilities

The role also demands actively challenging project delivery timelines to accelerate progress, fostering standardization and coherence between projects, and ensuring value is obtained through supplier negotiations. The Risk Manager will transfer knowledge and skills to build client capacity and implement best practices for program and project management, as well as administrative procedures.
