Job Overview

We are currently looking for a skilled Wireless Network Presales Engineer to join our team in Dammam. This role involves designing effective wireless network solutions and supporting presales activities to facilitate successful project bids and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

The Wireless Network Presales Engineer will be responsible for reviewing customer requests for quotations and technical specifications, preparing detailed and compliant wireless communication solutions, and coordinating closely with customers and suppliers. Key duties include:

• Analyzing RFQs, specifications, coverage needs, and bill of quantities (BOQs)
• Developing technically compliant and cost-efficient wireless network designs, including indoor and outdoor solutions
• Preparing technical proposals, BOQs, compliance documentation, cost estimates, and product selections tailored to project requirements
• Creating wireless network architectures, coverage plans, equipment layouts, and system descriptions
• Conducting or reviewing site surveys, RF calculations, coverage studies, and link budgets
• Maintaining communication and providing technical clarifications with customers, consultants, suppliers, and manufacturers
• Supporting sales teams during bidding, technical presentations, negotiations, and project handovers
• Ensuring compliance with customer needs and Saudi Aramco or applicable industry standards

Required Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will have solid experience and a strong technical background in wireless network design and presales. Essential skills include:

• Expertise in enterprise indoor and outdoor Wi-Fi solutions and point-to-point or point-to-multipoint wireless networks
• Knowledge of microwave links, radio communication systems, antennas, RF cables, and related hardware
• Experience in wireless coverage planning, RF design, link budgeting, and interference analysis
• Familiarity with TETRA/LMR, DAS, industrial wireless, or private wireless network technologies is a plus
• Ability to prepare detailed BOQs, datasheets, technical submissions, and compliance responses
• Strong proficiency in wireless planning and design tools along with Microsoft Office applications

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Wireless, Electronics, or Communication Engineering
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in wireless presales or RF design
• Highly developed technical proposal writing and cost estimation skills
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Experience with Saudi Aramco projects, oil and gas industry, or EPC contracts is advantageous
• Wireless or vendor certifications related to the field are preferred
• Availability to work onsite in Dammam/Eastern Province
