Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Civil Quality Control (QC) Engineer to join our site team in Riyadh South for an ongoing earthworks and civil construction project. This role involves ensuring all quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle, focusing on earthworks, roads, and utilities.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing project-specific quality control procedures that align with contractual specifications and international standards. Duties include conducting on-site inspections, monitoring material quality, and witnessing critical tests such as soil compaction, concrete integrity, and backfilling operations.

In addition, the Civil QC Engineer will prepare and maintain essential documentation including Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), checklists, QC reports, and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs). Coordination with site engineers, subcontractors, and client representatives to resolve quality-related issues will be a key part of the role.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• At least 5 years of hands-on quality control experience in civil construction projects, particularly in earthworks, roadworks, or utility installations.
• Good knowledge of Saudi and international standards, including ASTM, ACI, and BS codes.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken. Proficiency in Arabic or Chinese is an advantage.
• Familiarity with project documentation control and quality management systems.
• Ability to join the project within one week.

Previous experience with GCC or Saudi Arabia-based projects will be highly regarded.
