Job description
We are looking for a Steel Estimation Engineer (QS) with experience in metal works, including handrails, balustrades, ladders, and structural steel.

Responsibilities:

Prepare BOQs and detailed cost estimates

Calculate quantities from drawings (shop drawings & IFC)

Convert materials to weight (kg / ton) for accurate pricing

Analyze drawings and specifications

Prepare quotations for clients

Coordinate with workshop and site teams

Consider wastage, fabrication, and installation costs

Requirements:

Experience in steel / metal works estimation

Strong knowledge of BOQ and quantity take-off

Ability to read and understand drawings

Good knowledge of Excel

Experience in Saudi market is preferred

Preferred:

Experience in handrails, glass railings, and custom metal works

Understanding of materials (SS304, SS316, MS, coatings)
