A reputable contracting company is urgently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Line Technician specializing in Overhead Transmission Lines (OHTL). This opportunity is available for professionals looking to transfer their Iqama locally within Saudi Arabia, specifically in Riyadh, Dammam, and Jeddah.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for various technical tasks related to high voltage transmission lines, including:

• Erection of towers using cranes, derricks, poles, and gin pole methods.
• Conducting comprehensive tower inspections and maintenance.
• Performing stringing operations on 132KV to 400/380KV transmission lines, including double circuit quad conductor arrangements.
• Handling conductor and Optical Ground Wire (OPGW) paying out, final sag adjustments, clipping, and installation of spacers and vibration dampers (VD).
• Utilizing live line tools safely during outage activities and understanding associated live line hazards.
• Executing hot line works, including complex OHTL crossings with underpass gantries or special towers exceeding 80 meters in height.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Valid transferable Iqama with the appropriate profession or a closely related field.
• Educational qualification of at least 10th grade (appeared or passed).
• Strong practical knowledge of tower erection and maintenance, stringing work, and the operation of live line equipment.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently at heights and in challenging environments.
