Job Overview
We are seeking qualified engineers and technicians specializing in Electrical, Instrumentation, and Electronics & Communication fields to join major power generation projects based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Candidates with a strong background in power plant environments and proven expertise in site supervision, installation, and maintenance of control systems will find this an excellent opportunity to advance their careers.
Key Responsibilities
The roles include but are not limited to site supervision, coordinating daily meetings with customers, and preparing detailed progress reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis for both clients and company management. Candidates will oversee teams of foremen and technicians to ensure smooth execution of tasks related to installation, operation, and maintenance of DCS and PLC systems, loop checking, cabling, and panel wiring. Installation and calibration of field instrumentation and console/control room setups are also integral to these positions.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in power generation plants.
- Sound technical knowledge in handling DCS & PLC systems, loop checking, and field instrumentation calibration.
- Ability to interpret Electrical and Instrumentation & Control (I&C) drawings accurately.
- Proficiency in supervising and guiding teams of foremen and technicians.
- Strong understanding of cable laying (power, control, and fiber optic) and panel installation.
- Certification to act as a Permit Receiver.
- Familiarity with Saudi Energy Company safety regulations and compliance standards.
Position Specific Requirements
- Site Engineer: Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Electronics & Communication Engineering.
- Electrical and Instrument Foremen: Diploma holders with supervisory experience.
- Technicians (Electrical & Instrument): Diploma or ITI certified professionals with hands-on operational experience.
Preferred Certifications
- OHS General Induction
- Power Plant Safety Certification
- Generation Work Permit Receiver Training
