Job Overview
General Solutions Contracting Company Saudia is urgently seeking three qualified Fabrication Supervisors to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time opportunity calls for individuals with strong technical expertise and proven leadership abilities to oversee fabrication operations efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidates will be responsible for supervising a team that includes welders, fabricators, fitters, and CNC operators. Daily task assignments, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely completion of projects are essential duties. Collaboration with engineering, design, procurement, and QA/QC departments is critical to maintain smooth workflow. Supervisors must manage material usage carefully, monitor inventory levels, and review technical drawings and work orders prior to task delegation. Suggestions for improving fabrication processes to boost efficiency and minimize waste will be encouraged. Maintaining strict safety and quality standards on-site and providing training and mentorship to junior staff members are also key expectations.
Required Skills and Experience
A minimum of five years of experience in fabrication, including at least two years in a supervisory or foreman role, is essential. Candidates with backgrounds at Al Sharq Steel Factory, REDCO International Qatar, METAFCO Saudi Arabia, or similar companies will be highly regarded. Hands-on expertise in welding, fitting, CNC operations, and other fabrication techniques is required. Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings, along with strong skills in equipment maintenance and quality control, is necessary. Supervisors must be capable of enforcing safety protocols effectively and handling emergency procedures confidently. Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills are a must for this role.
