Job Overview

We are urgently seeking experienced Medical Equipment Engineers to join a leading healthcare facility in Riyadh. This role is ideal for candidates from the Philippines who have a strong background in biomedical or clinical engineering. The position focuses on maintaining high standards of safety and functionality by overseeing the installation, maintenance, repair, and calibration of critical medical equipment.

Key Responsibilities

The Medical Equipment Engineer will be entrusted with several important tasks to ensure smooth healthcare operations. These include:

• Performing inspections, installation, and commissioning of new medical devices and technology.
• Carrying out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and corrective repairs on both new and existing equipment.
• Calibrating devices to guarantee accuracy and reliable performance essential for medical procedures.
• Diagnosing and fixing malfunctions using specialized testing tools.
• Documenting all maintenance activities and repairs using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Participating in regular quality assurance rounds to evaluate equipment safety and address any user feedback.
• Responding promptly to emergency repair calls, often on an on-call basis outside typical working hours.
• Managing and ordering spare parts to maintain adequate inventory for preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, along with manufacturer guidelines.
• Effectively communicating equipment status and issues with clinical staff.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• A bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Clinical Engineering, or related technical field.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in medical equipment installation and maintenance, either locally or internationally.
• Proficiency in English and Arabic for clear business communication.
• Experience using Microsoft Office and computer-based maintenance management systems such as CMMS.
