Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Testing and Commissioning Engineer with a strong background in electrical engineering, specifically in substations and solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. The ideal candidate will have between 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in testing and commissioning for substations and solar projects, with proven expertise in Solar PV testing and commissioning.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on critical projects located in Al Khushaybi, Al Kahfa, and Al Muwayah. The initial contract duration is 3 months with the possibility of extension based on project requirements and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive testing and commissioning of electrical installations within substations and solar PV systems.
• Ensure that all systems are tested to conform to project specifications, safety standards, and engineering best practices.
• Coordinate with project teams and stakeholders to verify system functionality and troubleshoot technical issues as they arise.
• Maintain detailed documentation and reports of testing procedures and commissioning activities.
• Provide technical support during the handover phase to operations teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 5 to 7 years of relevant experience specifically in substation and Solar PV testing and commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of electrical testing equipment and commissioning protocols for solar photovoltaic systems.
• Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings, single-line diagrams, and project documentation.
• Proven ability to work effectively in challenging project environments.
• Valid Chamber certificate and iqama required for eligibility to work in Saudi Arabia.

Work Conditions and Benefits

The company provides accommodation, transportation, and meals throughout the assignment period. Immediate mobilization is needed upon selection to ensure timely project involvement. Candidates are expected to have all necessary documents ready, including valid iqama and Chamber certification.
