Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Tendering and Estimation Engineer to join a dynamic team based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role requires a professional who can accurately assess tender documents and prepare detailed cost estimates to support the project bidding process.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Reviewing tender documents, contracts, drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities (BOQs) to clearly define the project scope and identify commercial risks;
• Conducting quantity take-offs, rate analysis, and overall project cost estimation accurately;
• Assessing and comparing subcontractor and supplier quotations, coordinating clarifications, and advising on competitive pricing strategies;
• Preparing priced BOQs, addressing commercial clarifications, and compiling comprehensive tender submissions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline, with verifiable certification eligible for attestation;
• At least three years of experience in commercial tendering and estimation, especially the ability to independently price civil, architectural, or fit-out works;
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PDF tools for quantity take-off, along with familiarity with BIM-based quantity extraction methods;
• Experience working on projects in the Middle East and knowledge of local subcontractors and material suppliers;
• Attention to detail and responsibility, with preference given to candidates holding a transferable Iqama.
