Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager to lead the detailed design and construction aspects of our projects. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing project design and execution, ensuring that all deliverables meet schedule and budget requirements. As a vital member of the management team, this position requires strong technical expertise and leadership capabilities in the architectural glass and aluminium sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all technical office activities including the preparation and review of shop drawings, drafting construction work plans, and managing submittals.
• Ensure engineering proposals and submissions adhere to proposed timelines and quality standards.
• Develop and implement procedures to monitor and track engineering documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct site visits and coordinate with consultants and customers to address technical issues and support approvals.
• Prepare and deliver presentations related to installation, erection, or construction processes for both internal teams and external stakeholders.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven expertise in handling detailed design and construction in architectural glass, aluminium, or both industries.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to maintain efficiency and control within tight deadlines and budgets.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging with diverse teams and clients.
• Experience in setting up and maintaining technical documentation systems.
