Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Steel Structural Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will handle comprehensive structural analysis, detailed modeling, and prepare technical documentation for steel construction projects. This full-time role requires a professional registered with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) and advanced proficiency in Tekla Structures, to develop fabrication-ready designs aligned with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

The engineer will be responsible for performing detailed structural analysis and design of steel buildings and industrial frameworks using industry-standard software such as STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, or similar tools. You will create precise 3D Tekla models that accurately depict steel members and connections in compliance with project specifications. Additionally, preparing thorough structural analysis reports, calculation notes, and reviewing Shop Drawings and Material Take-offs (MTO) will be essential duties. The role includes site visits in Riyadh to verify field measurements and ensure the execution matches the approved structural designs. Ensuring all designs adhere to the Saudi Building Code (SBC) and recognized international standards like AISC and Eurocode is critical.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal applicant will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, which is a prerequisite for registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE). You should have 4 to 5 years of practical experience specializing in steel structural design and fabrication projects. Mastery of Tekla Structures is mandatory, along with strong capabilities in structural analysis software such as STAAD.Pro or SAP2000. The role demands meticulous technical report writing and estimation skills along with professional accreditation through the SCE.
