Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Supervisor specializing in steel structures to join the team at the Qiddiyah FIFA Stadium project in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will oversee the steel fabrication process ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to project timelines while managing on-site operations at the steel structure fabrication facility.

Key Responsibilities

The Fabrication Supervisor will be responsible for supervising all aspects of the steel structure fabrication including cutting, welding, and painting. This role requires comprehensive management of component production, close monitoring of quality control, and ensuring compliance with safety standards at the plant.

• Manage welders’ qualifications, welding procedure specifications (WPS), non-destructive testing (NDT), and anti-corrosion measures
• Conduct technical reviews of drawings and supervise the full fabrication workflow
• Coordinate with IBSF supervisors, prepare inspection documentation in English, and handle third-party inspections
• Maintain daily production records, manage material and inspection ledgers, and generate timely reports for the project department
• Ensure prompt resolution of any quality defects identified during fabrication

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma or higher degree in steel structure, welding, mechanical engineering, or a related field with eligibility for Saudi academic verification
• Hands-on experience in on-site management or third-party supervision within steel structure fabrication plants
• Strong knowledge of AISC, AWS codes, and IBSF supervision standards
• Proficient in English for effective communication with supervisors and factory personnel
• Solid understanding of welding procedures, NDT methods, and acceptance criteria for finished steel components
• Possession of relevant welding or steel structure certifications is advantageous
• Willingness to commit to a long-term on-site assignment at the fabrication facility
