Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Mechanical Engineer with over 10 years of experience to join a prestigious Building and Commercial Residential project based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role requires expertise in mechanical engineering specifically within the building and residential sectors, contributing significantly to the successful delivery of complex construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing mechanical engineering aspects throughout the project lifecycle. This includes planning, design review, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with technical standards and safety regulations, and providing technical support to contractors and stakeholders. The engineer will also monitor project progress and resolve any mechanical system issues to maintain project timelines and quality benchmarks.

Required Skills and Experience

• Over 10 years of hands-on experience in mechanical engineering within building and commercial residential projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, HVAC systems, plumbing, fire fighting systems, and building codes relevant to Saudi Arabia.
• Effective coordination and communication skills to work with project teams, contractors, and clients.
• Experience in managing project schedules and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Proficiency in technical documentation and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with prior exposure to Aramco projects or experience within the oil and gas sector may have an additional advantage. However, this is not mandatory. A bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or related fields is required.
