Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer specializing in steel structure installation to join our project team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will lead the supervision and management of primary steel structures, including complex spatial and irregular shapes, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety throughout the installation process.

Key Responsibilities

The Site Engineer will be responsible for overseeing steel structure and cladding system installations. Key duties include:

• Managing and supervising the installation of primary steel frameworks, including spatial and irregular-shaped structures.
• Overseeing lifting and erection operations, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and quality requirements.
• Collaborating closely with design and technical teams to resolve installation challenges and discrepancies.
• Supervising the installation of cladding components such as roofing and wall panels, ensuring proper alignment and finishes.
• Coordinating daily onsite activities with project managers, foremen, and subcontractors to ensure seamless workflow.
• Preparing comprehensive daily progress reports and updating project schedules accurately.
• Conducting thorough inspections to verify compliance with design specifications, international safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Identifying potential issues promptly and implementing effective corrective measures.
• Maintaining detailed records of installation processes, material use, and site conditions to support project documentation.
• Facilitating clear and effective communication among all stakeholders to keep the project aligned with its goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 5 years of direct experience in steel structure installation, especially with spatial and irregular-shaped frameworks.
• Extensive knowledge of cladding installation, including roofing and wall panel systems.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and structural calculations.
• Practical experience with lifting operations and coordination of heavy machinery on site.
• Strong understanding of international safety regulations relevant to steel structure installation.
• Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to perform effectively under time constraints and high-pressure conditions.
• Previous experience working in Saudi Arabia or the broader Middle East region is considered advantageous.
