Job Overview

We are urgently looking for experienced Senior Waterjet Technicians specializing in KONGSBERG waterjet systems to join our marine maintenance team in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This role involves essential hands-on work, including overhauling, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of waterjet propulsion units used in marine vessels. Ideal candidates will have a strong mechanical background and a proven track record working with KONGSBERG equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive overhauls and repairs on KONGSBERG waterjet systems ensuring optimal performance.
• Diagnose technical issues and troubleshoot faults effectively to minimize downtime.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance following manufacturer guidelines and best practices.
• Review and interpret technical manuals and measurement reports to guide maintenance work.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support commissioning and testing of marine propulsion systems.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in marine waterjet maintenance, preferably with KONGSBERG systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to work independently on complex maintenance tasks.
• Familiarity with interpreting technical documentation, manuals, and engineering reports.
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical and operational issues in marine propulsion equipment.
• Previous exposure to overhaul processes and preventive maintenance for marine engines or gearboxes is an advantage.

Benefits and Salary
