Job Overview
We are seeking a Sales Engineer with 3 to 5 years of proven experience in the fabrication industry to join our team in Saudi Arabia. This role requires a strong technical background in fabrication processes combined with commercial sales expertise, focusing on structural steel, metal fabrication, and customized components. Candidates must be willing to operate across all regions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities within the fabrication sector. Key duties include promoting fabrication services, preparing accurate commercial proposals and tender submissions, and reviewing client specifications and drawings alongside production teams. Conducting client meetings, site visits, and technical presentations is essential, as well as negotiating contracts to meet sales targets. The role demands active coordination with engineering, production, and project management teams to ensure on-time delivery of fabrication projects. Building and maintaining strong relationships with contractors, consultants, and industrial clients is also a fundamental part of the position. Staying updated on market trends and competitor activity is critical to sustaining a competitive edge.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience working as a Sales Engineer within a fabrication department.
- Excellent technical understanding of fabrication drawings and manufacturing processes.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to achieve sales targets independently.
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout KSA.
- Possession of a valid driving license.
Compensation and Benefits
