Job Overview

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Engineer with specialized knowledge in Low Voltage (LV) Switchgear and Power Factor Correction (PFC) Panels to join our growing team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role demands a professional who can blend technical expertise with excellent sales strategies to drive business growth and deliver tailored electrical solutions to clients.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for building and nurturing strong relationships with contractors, consultants, and end-users. Primary duties include promoting and selling LV switchgear products such as Main Distribution Boards (MDB), Sub-Main Distribution Boards (SMDB), distribution boards, Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), Motor Control Centers (MCC), capacitor banks, and PFC panels. The role also involves preparing and delivering compelling technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution proposals tailored to customer needs.

Additionally, you will review project specifications, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), single-line diagrams, and tender documents, ensuring accurate quotations through close collaboration with design and production teams. Meeting monthly and quarterly sales targets is a core objective, alongside conducting site visits, load assessments, and power factor improvement analyses. Effective follow-up on quotations, negotiating prices, and closing deals will be key to success. Maintaining detailed CRM records, conducting market research, competitor analysis, and gathering customer feedback will also be part of your routine responsibilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline is essential. Candidates should have between 2 and 5 years of experience in LV switchgear sales, preferably within the Saudi Arabian market. A solid understanding of LV switchgear components such as breakers, contactors, relays, and meters is required, along with knowledge of capacitor banks, detuned reactors, and APFC controllers.

Familiarity with IEC standards and local specifications from SEC, ARAMCO, and SABIC will be highly advantageous. The ability to interpret single-line diagrams (SLDs), load schedules, and general arrangement (GA) drawings of panels is expected. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are critical, as well as holding a valid Saudi driving license.

Applicants with an existing network of clients in the electrical industry will find this role particularly fitting. Experience working with products from leading brands including Schneider Electric, ABB, Siemens, LS, and Eaton is valued. Additional knowledge in harmonic mitigation and energy efficiency will distinguish candidates further. A strong technical-commercial mindset will enhance your ability to meet customer needs effectively.
