Job Overview

Saleh Abdulaziz Alrashed & Sons is seeking a skilled Quality Control Engineer to join our Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) team based in Al Aziziah, Riyadh. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of concrete quality across our production processes.

Key Responsibilities

The Quality Control Engineer will be responsible for developing and optimizing concrete mix designs to meet project specifications and quality requirements. Key duties include:

• Creating and refining RMC mix designs for varied construction needs
• Conducting plant trials and performing thorough raw material verification tests
• Overseeing quality control during batching and production to ensure consistency
• Coordinating mix submittals in line with project specifications and requirements
• Supporting the sales team by providing technical input during quotation and project approval stages
• Investigating and resolving customer complaints with effective technical solutions
• Driving cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement activities within the production process

Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a proven background in quality control related to Ready Mix Concrete, along with strong technical and interpersonal abilities. Candidates should meet the following criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 5 years experience specifically in Ready Mix Concrete quality control
• Comprehensive knowledge of concrete mix design principles and plant operations
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications for quality data analysis
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
