Job Overview

A well-established steel fabrication company in Riyadh is seeking a skilled QC Engineer with a minimum of five years of experience in quality control within the steel fabrication sector. The ideal candidate will have expertise in welding inspection, material verification, and adherence to fabrication standards, ensuring high-quality production outputs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough inspections of raw materials, fabrication processes, welding activities, and finishing operations to guarantee compliance with project requirements.
• Ensure all work aligns with quality standards and client specifications through continuous monitoring and evaluation.
• Collaborate closely with production teams and QA/QC departments to identify and resolve any quality-related challenges swiftly.
• Prepare and maintain detailed quality control documentation including Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), inspection reports, and other QC records.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in quality control specifically within the steel fabrication industry.
• Strong understanding of welding inspection techniques, material testing, and fabrication quality standards.
• Proficiency in creating and managing QC documentation such as ITPs and inspection reports.
• Familiarity with recognized international standards including ASTM, ISO, and AWS to ensure compliance.
• Possession of a local transferable Iqama is mandatory for this role.
