Job Overview

We are urgently looking for a seasoned QA/QC Engineer to lead inspection processes for pressure vessels, tanks, and heat exchangers within Oil & Gas and petrochemical projects. This role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and demands hands-on experience adhering to ASME, API, and Aramco standards. The ideal candidate will bring over a decade of industrial experience, including at least six years specifically in QA/QC and four years within the Oil & Gas sector.

Key Responsibilities

The successful applicant will oversee quality inspections and ensure full compliance with international and client-specific codes. Responsibilities include reviewing and approving Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQRs), and welder qualifications. You will supervise non-destructive testing activities and personnel, including managing NDT methods such as UT, PT, MT, RT, and VT. Coordination with vendors, third-party inspectors, and managing outsourced fabrication and inspections will be essential. The role also involves preparing Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), inspection reports, final quality dossiers, and handling client interfaces for hold and witness points as well as documentation submissions for testing and quality control (DCL).

Required Skills and Certifications

• Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or Certified Welding Inspector from CSWIP.
• ASNT Level II certification in NDT techniques: Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Penetrant Testing (PT), Magnetic Testing (MT), Radiographic Testing (RT), and Visual Testing (VT).
• Extensive knowledge of ASME, API, AWS, and relevant fabrication and inspection codes.
• Ability to manage non-conformance reports (NCRs), implement corrective actions, address technical clarifications, and drive continual quality improvement initiatives.

Experience and Qualifications

The role requires a minimum of 10 years of industrial experience, with at least 6 years dedicated to QA/QC functions and no less than 4 years rooted in the Oil & Gas industry. Proven track record working with international standards and client-specific requirements in petrochemical or similar heavy industries is highly preferred.

Competitive salary range offered between 4000 SAR and 5500 SAR, reflecting qualifications and expertise.
