Job Overview

We are currently looking for a skilled Proposal Engineer to join our Inside Sales department in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating customer requirements and preparing detailed technical and commercial proposals. This role requires close collaboration with various internal teams to ensure timely and accurate submission of project quotations and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

The Proposal Engineer will play a vital role in managing proposals and project support through the following duties:

• Reviewing customer inquiries, technical specifications, and detailed requirements to develop suitable proposals.
• Preparing comprehensive technical and commercial quotations tailored to customer demands.
• Engaging with customers to clarify project needs and provide updates on progress.
• Generating Non-Material Requisitions (NMR), tracking material sourcing, and coordinating with procurement and production departments.
• Working closely with production, quality assurance, and purchasing teams to facilitate smooth project execution and compliance with quality standards.
• Monitoring manufacturing schedules and ensuring adherence to project timelines.
• Following up on material availability and production status to prevent delays.
• Compiling project documentation, preparing progress reports, and maintaining accurate records.
• Arranging product inspections, testing phases, and overseeing final delivery procedures.
• Managing projects from order intake through manufacturing, testing, and final customer handover.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
• A solid understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial instrumentation technologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with customers and internal teams.
• Strong project management abilities to coordinate multiple departments and ensure deadlines are met.
• The capability to interpret and work with technical specifications, drawings, and standards.
