Job Overview

A leading Oil & Gas organization in Saudi Arabia is urgently seeking a highly skilled Project Director / Project Manager specializing in cross-country pipeline Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects. The role requires an experienced professional with a strong background in pipeline infrastructure, overseeing projects from initial concept through to successful handover.

This position is based in Saudi Arabia and demands a candidate with demonstrated leadership and technical expertise in managing complex pipeline and hydrocarbon facility projects while ensuring quality, safety, and schedule adherence.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will lead comprehensive project execution including engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover phases. Core duties include:

• Overseeing the entire project lifecycle from conceptual design to completion and delivery
• Managing pipeline and piping construction activities, including structural steel fabrication and installation
• Supervising hydrocarbon facilities, process equipment installation, as well as civil, electrical, and instrumentation works
• Ensuring rigorous adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards
• Coordinating effectively with clients, stakeholders, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary project teams
• Handling project risks, variations, claims, and contractual responsibilities with precision
• Supporting engineering and procurement teams to meet project milestones and objectives
• Maintaining compliance with health, safety, environmental (HSE) policies and international engineering codes and standards

Required Skills and Experience

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering, accompanied by 8 to 10+ years of relevant experience. A proven track record in managing large-scale EPC projects for cross-country pipelines is essential. Strong leadership skills combined with technical knowledge in hydrocarbon pipeline construction, process equipment installation, and pre-commissioning activities are required.
